Grant Writing students from Drury University joined forces to write grants with the Springfield Dream Center. Twenty-nine students from across the country and locally wrote seven grants for the Springfield Dream Center. It was a thrill to get to know and collaborate with these students and get to know their heart and passion for those in need. "I had an idea of what the Dream Center did from working in the same community. However, by taking this class I gained so much more insight into who they are. We are so fortunate to have the Springfield Dream Center in our community!" What a weekend! We were able to serve 489 kiddos this weekend at our Give Back event (and a few more after the event to total over 500 kids served)! A huge thank you to North Point Church and Connect Church for volunteering, collecting gifts, and making this event possible!

Next Tuesday, December 15, we are having another holiday food distribution! Come by the Fairbanks Community Center for some food essentials to get through the holiday season! We will begin at 3 and give food out until 5:30pm or until supplies run out. We hope to see you there!

We are excited to partner with Cassie D'Aprinio with Bella Bags to provide self-care wellness packages to women in need. Bella Bags aims to help women facing serious health and situational hardships rediscover their confidence, strength, and beauty for improved emotional and physical healing. We are so grateful for our friends at BASE (a program through SPS). 3 days a week they spend time at the DC working on job skills. They help with special projects, food prep and sanitation. We love our BASE crew!
