This was given to Lisa Miller today on behalf of USA Softball of Missouri for Kevin Miller who passed away late last year. Well deserved and he did a great job for softball in this area and Missouri.

It is with very heavy hearts that Springfield ASA announce the passing of long time player, coach, umpire, District UIC and friend Kevin Miller late last night due to Covid-19. He umpired 27 USA Softball tournaments and UIC 3 between 1986-1991, 1996 - 2019. He also umpired the 1996 Men's Masters 40 & Over National, 1997 Girls 14U Slow Pitch National and the 2013 Men's D Slow Pitch Northern National. Was the SW District UIC 2018 to the present and began working in the front office at the Killian Complex since 2015. Please keep in mind Kevin's family during this hard time. For Kevin and everyone else who has been effected by this virus, please please were a mask to help protect you and someone else.

Registration has begun

Springfield ASA mourns the loss of a true softball legend in SW Missouri. Bonus Frost, passed away over the weekend. He is a member of the Springfield ASA Hall of fame, Missouri USA Softball Hall of Fame, Springfield Area Sports Hall of Fame and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.

The Girls Fast Pitch Fall Fest Softball Tournament scheduled for Sat. August 1 at the Meador Softball Complex has been CANCELLED due to rain and poor field conditions.

All adult and youth softball and baseball games scheduled tonight Friday July 31 at Killian, Meador and Cooper have been cancelled due to rain.
