Many changes along with the growth at Springfield Marriage and Family Institute. We expanded to the unit next door. Here we are opening the wall earlier this summer!

Congratulations Stan Buford on completing your Masters Degree. Stan has Interned with us since August 2015. He is an amazing individual with a heart for helping others. He's done incredible work as an intern. ( see review below) We look forward to working with him as our newest SMFI counselor. Mesha Greenwood- "Stan is by far the BEST marriage counselor my husband and I have seen. We've been to two counselors in the past, and it is clear how invested and educational Stan is compared to the previous counselors. This institution, unlike most of Springfield's actually cares about the amount of specific training their employees complete before counseling."

It's been an exciting week around the office! Many of you have seen Ken at the front desk for the past year or so. Many have asked "How's Stephanie doing?". Well we are proud to introduce our newest member of the SMFI family. Arriving 5 weeks early "Little Max". Mommy, Daddy & Baby are doing great.

"I wish we'd come in sooner" I can't tell you how many times clients, after the third or so visit, make this same statement. So many wait so long to come to counseling. They wait till it's this or divorce. They tie themsleves in knots, white knuckle the phone, and call with reluctance and doubt. Once here they cant believe the differnce in their relationship. Then...., wait for it, " I wish we'd come here sooner". Yep again.... What are you waiting for? One more Argument? One more insult? One more night going to sleep wondering if you're going to make it?
