Music may feed the soul but food feeds the body. You don’t have to look hard to find news about Americans that for the first time are struggling to feed themselves and their families. The impact of COVID-19 is far more than just sickness. Spectrum Band has made donations in the past to a local food bank but now the need is even more urgent. Therefore, we have made another donation to the Circle of Concern food bank because they have such a direct impact on families in our ...area. We have vetted their credentials several years ago and they are very well managed with over 80% of their donations going directly to their clients. The holidays are always a time when food pantries need additional support to help families that are in need of having enough food. With so much going on lately, we’ve been remiss in keeping up with all of the reviews that have been posted in the past few weeks about the band. There have been 11 recent reviews so we might be in for yet again another record setting year so stay tuned! All of the reviews were posted on both The Knot as well as WeddingWire so it seems to be pouring again. We’ll start with one that really made us say WOW!. Thank you Joe for taking the time to write such a great revie...w. It was our pleasure to perform for your family and friends at Morgyn’s wedding and to pack your dance floor. It is honestly people like you for the past 20+ years that recommend us to others a thousand times over that are the main reason that we keep such a full schedule. It’s a lot of work to make it look easy but we all agree that it’s totally worth it. WOW, WOW, WOW! If you are reading this and looking for a band for your event, stop reading and contact them NOW! From first contact to the day of the wedding, we were so well informed of how the day will go and we couldn't have asked for a better night of The Spectrum Band performing. They read the crowd throughout the night and played a variety of songs that kept the dance floor full all night. And to wake up the morning after and see an email from the band just thanking us for a great night and using them for my daughter’s wedding was the icing on the cake. I would recommend The Spectrum Band a thousand times over and I wish you could rate them above 5 stars on this site. If you're planning a public or private event and needing entertainment, let us bring our energy to you and your guests. We had an exceptional show last night at one of our favorite venues for the past 20+ years and ended up with some fun pictures to share. The band and production company followed all of the city guidelines for safety and we managed our own "pod" throughout the night. Plus, the Missouri Athletic Club was also very accommodating by providing an elegant barrier to keep the dancers a safe distance from the stage area. One of our band members got some great shots of the band in ...action and clearly, we're having way too much fun on our stages. The best part is we received an e-mail from the father of the bride at 8:19 this morning thanking us for such a "fantastic" evening. It's much more challenging to perform for weddings rather than at nightclubs and bars but, it's so worth it to make families this happy. "Tim, I want to thank you and the band for a fantastic evening. The dance floor was full all night and I got so many compliments on your performance. Super fun night at one of our regular venues tonight. The band and production company are adhering to all of the St. Louis city requirements so that our clients still get to have the big night that we have planned together for so long. Our container of disinfectant wipes is out for extra precautions. It took a lot of coordination to make this night as safe as possible and it sure seems to be worth it. It's another packed floor and we had some special musical requests that all came off perfectly. One more set to play to give this crowd what they want to hear!
