FAQs for Hand Tied Weft Extensions 1. Q. How much does it cost? A. My pricing is broken down into two categories - hair cost & installation cost. Hair cost is between $350-700. The varies per client as no two heads of hair are the same. Installation starts at $250 and varies depending on the length of time needed for the installation. 2. Q. How often do I need to come to the salon? A. 6-8 weeks, depending on hair growth and weft placement.... 3. Q. Is it real hair? A. Yes! The brand of hair extensions I work with uses only 100% Remy human hair. 4. Q. Do the colors match my real hair? A. Yes! The color options available are endless! Balayage, rooted, duo-toned, you name it, they got it! 5. Q. Can you color or bleach the extensions? A. Yes and no. Extensions cannot be made lighter with bleach. Extensions can be toned or made darker. 6. Q. Can I use my regular shampoo and conditioner? A. No. Due to the nature of the extension hair, shampoos and conditioners must NOT contain any proteins. Proteinized products will cause extensions hair quality to deteriorate at a much quicker rate. 7. Q. How do I style the extension hair? A. Just like normal! Although make sure to use a lower temperature setting when blow drying or using heats tools. Try to stay under 250F. Use thermal protection as much as possible!
