The Paulding, OH plant celebrated safety milestones this week! They hosted a lunch and received safety gifts to recognize the efforts of all plant personnel's efforts the led to 3 years without a recordable. The Paulding plant has also gone over 1.5M hours without a lost time injury. Excellent work, everyone! Thanks for keeping everyone safe!

John Stephens, Superintendent for the Arcanum-Butler Local Schools, with Spartech’s Donnie Baker and Robert Benton met up when Robert and Donnie delivered $2,500 worth of protective barriers donated to Arcanum-Butler Local Schools to help prepare for in-person classes in the new school year. The company said the barriers will be used at Arcanum as dividers for teachers working with students and for classrooms that use tables instead of desks. "We want to thank Spartech for t...he donation that will help keep everyone in our school community safe and protected," said John Stephens, superintendent for the Arcanum-Butler Local Schools in a statement released by the company. Spartech Quality Control Donnie Baker, who lives in Arcanum and graduated from the school, reached out to the superintendent about the need for protective barriers. The Spartech team then quickly stepped in with an offer to donate the easy to clean and disinfect UltraTuf PETG Sheet which is versatile, clear and FDA-approved. Many of our employees have children heading back to school and we know how valuable personal protective equipment like barriers are to the safety of students, teachers and staff, said Robert Benton, Plant Manager for Spartech.

Rue21 fashion stores (all 666 of them) are open with safety precautions in place. One of those precautions is Spartech's polycarbonate that was used to create the protective barriers added in the stores in May & June. The photo shows the counter at their #1628 store in Robinson Township, PA. Wow! The optical clarity is amazing! If it weren't for the stands, you wouldn't be able to tell they were installed. And cleaning tests show the clarity is not reduced during multiple cleanings.
