Did you know that The Spa at Briarcliff offers spray tans? Customize your own desired natural tone and shade, using 100% naturally-derived ingredients that are vegan and paraben-free. Here's what to expect and how you can make your tan last. BEFORE - Shave + exfoliate the day of appointment. - Arrive with bare skin, not wearing oils or lotions.... - Wear loose/baggy dark clothing to service. DURING - Your provider will explain the service and answer any questions you have before stepping out to allow you privacy to dress down to your comfort level. Masks are required leading up to application. - You'll be given a shower cap and foot pads to put on the bottom of your feet. - When the provider reenters, they will apply barrier cream to nail beds, elbows, ankles or any dry areas. - The tan will be applied by hand using our Norvell machine and will be dry in minutes. AFTER - Wait as long as you are able before showering (7+ hours) - Avoid putting on lotions/deodorant until after showering - Avoid exercise/sweating as much as possible for at least 5 hours - Do not shave for at least 12 hours

Our lovely Esthetician, Chloe, is answering a few of them today. Here's what she had to say! Q: How do I prevent dry skin?... A: Keep skin moisturized. Having a good, hydrating moisturizer and cleanser is key! Q: What should I do for 'maskne'? A: Make sure to exfoliate (at least once a week), wash re-usable masks after each time you wear them, wash your face twice a day and make sure to always wear moisturizer and sunscreen. Q: What's the best anti-aging cream? A: Skinceuticals has a GREAT anti-aging line. CE Ferulic (serum) from that line is one of our most popular products!
