Thank you to all our customers that have returned their pots this year!!! We really want to reduce the amount of waste our company produces, and our pots are a huge part of that waste. We pasteurize the pots during the winter (which also helps heat and humidify our house) and reuse them over and over until they break or are not returned. You may return our Sow Wild Natives pots at any time by dropping them off either at the front garage door or behind the house where you picked up your plants this year. PLEASE only return pots from us (at this time we don't have use for other sized pots, but several other nurseries will also take their pots back).

Tonight I reflected on the beauty in the garden in what most would call a dreary day. And I wondered, "Who else sees the beauty of the garden in this weather." And I knew - our customers. I often reflect on how amazing our customers are. You are so kind, full of love and curiosity for life, compassionate to all creatures, patient and understanding when things like COVID-19 change our plans, and generally just a joy to share time with. Thank you for another wonderful year at Sow Wild Natives! I look forward to seeing you again next year. Peace. Salaam. Shalom. Namaste my friends. Have a wonderful winter. - Tracy, Owner & Plant Nerd

When the nursery closes down, that's when we have time to focus more on our gardens. It was so exciting to finally get this corner of the pond garden installed today! Starting in the back left corner and going clockwise is Phlox bifida, Carex albicans, Oenothera macrocarpa, Antennaria parlinii, two more Carex albicans, and another Antennaria parlinii. This install is at the base of this beautiful stand (created by @scottdivendesigns). Next year this stand will display information about the pond (designed and installed by #bluestoneaquaticdesign), the pond garden design (by @dtekc), and the plants in the garden.

We still have some blooms in the gardens. In the newest garden, the Wall Garden, we still have cliff goldenrod (Solidago drummondii) and diattany (Cunila origanoides) blooming. Don't forget to place your order before we close for the season this Saturday. #grownative #solidagodrummondii #cunilaoriganoides #fallgarden

As our plants start to go dormant, we're getting ready to close down for the season. You have one week left to place your order and pick up plants by next Saturday, October 17th.

It's beautiful goldenrod season!

Found this perfect little beauty in our sign garden this week. Though it knows no boundaries, and roams where it wants, rose verbena (Glandularia canadensis), has beautiful flowers that bloom from May through September. #glandulariacanadensis #grownative
