Last week, our team and the entire Thayer community suffered a great loss with the passing of Steve Russell, community bank manager in Thayer. Steve was a respected banker and community leader who served us for over 13 years. We are saddened at his passing and extend our deepest sympathies to his family. He will be greatly missed. Steve was a great team member and an even better person. He was a pleasure to work with and his team leadership and work ethic was such a posit...ive impact on everyone at the bank. He took time with each of his customers and made everyone he spoke with feel as if they were the most important person in the room. He was an active member of his church and held numerous offices in the Thayer and Mammoth Spring communities.
