Ok folks. It’s cold, that shouldn’t be news to anyone. Based on the temperature display in the patrol car, it’s 7. So yeah that’s cold. Did you know most salt ...applied to roads stops working at 10 degrees? That’s what google says. And by my math, 7 is less than 10. So, the roads look clear but are extremely icy, especially in areas where snow (traction) has been removed. Slow it down, leave extra space between you and the car in front of you, and don’t rush the lights. When your light turns green, wait to make sure cross traffic stops before you become a statistic. It’s cold and crashes mean a lot of paperwork and time in the cold for us. Please don’t make us get out in the cold. Thaaaannnnkkkkksss a bunch.
