The Teen Safe Summer Job Social Media Campaign has been postponed due to the focus on COVID-19. However, we have learned of the need for information sharing about training resources for educators who are engaging with students remotely and their parents. CPWR Webinar A free Fall prevention & Protection in the Roofing Industry webinar is scheduled for April 16, 2020. The 1-Hour Webinar on the National Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction will showcase specific considerations roofing contractors and workers need to take into account when planning, training and executing fall prevention measures, as well as what to do in the even that a fall does occur on your jobsite. Representatives from OSHA and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NCRA) will participate.

Fall Protection Stand-Down The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has decided to postpone the 7th Annual National Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, originally scheduled for May 4-8, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is expected to be rescheduled this summer.
