Thank you Kansas Reining horse Association for hosting a great show in Topeka. The weekend proved successful for our group: Gina Webb competed in her first reining class on SLJ Im No Joke with a 5th place finish out of 25 head; Michelle Young continues to gain ground on her youngster, Cocktailsgimmerythm ending the weekend winning her Nov NP class with a 70.5; Michelle also showed BOS Peppy and Smart in the Freestyle getting 2nd (was so fun to watch); Frankie Forgey also gai...ning ground on her new horse Ms Pale Face Penny finishing top 5 in NP both days; Jo Gadberry with Just Plain Spooky ended up 3rd out of 24 in her Ranch Riding classes; Jim Veraguth had a crowd pleasing run marking a 72.5 on Dunnits QT Dynasty, good for a win in the Rookie; Ashley McClellan ventured into the Ranch Riding for the 1st time with some pretty rides; and lastly Heather Slemp won the Limited Open on Ms Pale Face Penny. Congratulations to all the exhibitors this weekend and we look forward to the next one!

What a week at the Ropin n Lopin in Grand Island. EXCELLENT ground and cattle, beautiful barns and GREAT management. Congratulations to: Jo Gadberry winning, among many other classes, her 1st NRCHA limited NP class and being reserve high point in the VRH All Around. Frankie Bowers-Forgey winning Am AQHA RR, AQHA Am reining, and 1st/2nd placings in VRH Trail and VRH RR!... Michelle Young High Point VRH All Around among many other 1st and 2nd placings! Hazel Myles 1st NRCHA check in youth boxing and 1st in L1 Youth RR! And I won the reining one day on Deb Decker's horse Shine My Crome and the AQHA Ranch Riding, and I won the reining the 2nd day on Michelle Young's horse Cocktailsgimmerhythm.
