After several months of not being able to find the right packaging we were patient and adapted. Life lesson number 27,000, sometimes when we adapt we find out we like it even better.

I’m making products and being watched the whole time 2020 Working from home, has been interesting and challenging. 2020 has seen different sides of us that we didn’t know existed. Retail sales for small business owners slowed down, or even stopped. Our motivation slowed down with it, that’s just human nature. I, myself, lost motivation to work, to formulate new products, to go into my store. And then my mom passed. And my motivation sunk even more. ... But the continued requests for my products (that I can’t get packaging for, or some ingredients for) made me realize that I’m going to do what I can because there are still people that want our products, and there’s still people’s products that I want! Thank you! SKIN family! For showing me that we all have some type of purpose even when our motivation is lacking.... Thank you for your continued support! NOW... It’s been a long couple of months, that we all can agree, but tomorrow’s the day that they say we can leave. WE DID NOT KNOW! Thank you for sharing this! @holistichealthbyholly Multi-Part Confession... . PT 1: I haven’t used face wash since my early days of high school. I’ve been blessed with rather blemish-free skin, EXCEPT when I was nearing my period in my yester-years, and when I used face wash...... . Weird but true. My skin BROKE OUT because of the thing that was suppose to make it clean, clear, and beautiful. . PT 2: I have thrown out any and everyone scented body wash I’ve tried since THIRD grade. Why? They all caused skin irritation since THIRD grade. Even the natural and hypoallergenic ones... . That’s right...third grade was the first time I noticed skin blemishes from my strawberry shampoo that also doubled as a body wash. The most common places that spots showed up were my poor nose (yes, I got called Rudolph), my armpits (um hi....no tanks or lifting my arms overhead when that happened...and don’t forget the discomfort from the rubbing of skin-to-skin or shirt-to-skin), or my booty. Weird, but totall true. . PT 3: To make a long story short(er), over the past couple of years I’ve learned a lot about why many mainstream products caused various issues for users, and I’ve been introduced to many clean, harm-free brands by makers, sellers, and customers who RAVE about them. But when I was given a sample of @skinkc’s face wash previously I honestly put it at the back of my cabinet for a bit, and even jokingly told someone they could have it since I don’t even use face wash... . TBH, I was TERRIFIED! I did not want to put something back on my skin that would do the reverse of its purpose. . Well one day I got a wild hair and figured I would try it out. And wowwww had I been missing out! . So here I am today, using SkinKC’s face wash (and body wash) on the reg without a worry in the world for my skin, or overall health. .
