Kourtney Kostecki '13 virtually visited Mrs. Katie Lodes' "AP Biology" class! She talked to the Angels about her work with tyrosine kinases. Kourtney is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison! The Academy is blessed to continuously have bright and enthusiastic alumnae share their expertise with current students. #GoAngels #STEM

The Angels are cheering for Carol Fromuth! She has been named the "Golf Coach of the Year" by the National High School Golf Association Way to go, Coach!

Did you know that the SJA Performing Arts Center Theater was once the St. Joe Gymnasium? In 2003-2004, the former gym was "renovated into a 700 seat auditorium with state-of-the-art computerized light and sound system, a built-in projection screen, and an expanded stage, to be used for plays and concerts, assemblies, and liturgies; backstage dressing rooms and set construction area." (St. Joseph's Academy: 175 Years of Tradition, Excellence and Faith) We are blessed to be one of the few all-girls schools in St. Louis with an auditorium that is able to accommodate all students and faculty! #ThrowbackThursday

The Angels are joining the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in their #FlatFontbonne challenge to help the CSJs see just how far the congregation reaches! "Mother St. John Fontbonne helped the Sisters of St. Joseph survive persecution during the French Revolution, and she sent the first sisters to the Americas, where they settled in Carondelet, Missouri. She remains a guiding light for our sisters, so we think it’s fitting to take her on some of our travels." The Academy congratulates Sophia Sansone ’13 for being named a 30 Under 30 by Nashville Briefing! Recipients of this honor accomplished amazing things in 2020, despite a global pandemic, and those who we believe will continue to inspire in 2021. Sophia graduated from Vanderbilt University and has worked at Make Wake Artists since 2017, where she started as an assistant to Chris Kappy. She is now an integral part of Luke Combs’ management team and manager to Ashland Craft. The Alumnae Association is excited to hear what she accomplishes next! #GoAngels
