Tonite Missouri oak barnwood will keep us warm. These parts just didn’t make the grade. If we make furnishings for your home we promise to use only the best parts of the barn.

Here are some last minute gift ideas that are at the Covered Bridge Market. There are a couple of table risers and one kitchen stand, each for $45. The bookcase can go for $140. All of the blanket ladders have been sold but would be happy to take orders. Thanks for looking! I hope to add several items in 2021, and I am fortunate to have some big projects in the pipeline. We often have free large bags of sawdust if you need it. Merry Christmas!!

Some benches, a little more on the rustic side, that will fit around an 8 foot table. Ready for sanding the tops and finish.

Thank you Debra and Jack Lake for having me make a new top for this table that was passed on from her ancestors. There was even a letter dated 1929 stuffed up into one corner!

This proves I am making a table from real walnut and not butternut. Years ago a forester told me walnuts are different as they have chambered pith. No it’s not barnwood and no I have not developed a lisp. I look forward to showing everyone the finished project.

I can’t be there today but I sent some new items that are inside. Hope there will be a good crowd checking out all of the vendors. I can make most any rustic wood box or backdrop for your seasonal decorations. Let me know!

This bookcase is ready for some sanding touch up and finishing. The distressed green back is from the kitchen ceiling in the old Fischer farmhouse. Everything else is oak from one of the 5 barns we have dismantled. This will be at the vendor display on Sept 5 at the Covered Bridge Market!
