Miriam wrote us a workout about a month ago. Said it was for Saturday only (since she wrote it on a Sat) but those days tend to get away from us right quick so we finally talked her into letting us do it on a Saturday. 100KB swings for mom (m), 110 for dad (d). She has her own shorthand. 19 burpees for mom and 20 for me. Run or bike around the block. End. #crossfit @kcicrossfit @teresamsidwell

Do you know how much equity you have in your home? Across the board, the average homeowner has at least 50% equity in their current home, as estimated by the home's value compared to the mortgage balance. For a free check into YOUR home's equity, check out our FREE HomeBot valuation at https://hmbt.co/t6hJAp. It's totally free, and we promise we won't spam you in any way, whatsoever. :) We just want you to know what your home equity is!

Residential real estate values have increased across the nation at more than 9X(!) the predicted rate (5.5% vs predicted 0.6%). Demand for single-family homes has remained strong, thanks to working from home and low mortgage rates. On the monthly basis, home values for August 2020 sales were predicted to increase a mere 0.1% but crushed that prediction with 1.2% average increase in August. Still a very strong sellers' market in most parts of the country, including Kansas City!

Can 2020 be called a Recession? It's unusual, that's for certain. Regardless of the cause, or whether it's actually a recession, here are the last 5 recessions in the United States and how home prices for real estate were effected. It should be noted that in the last 6 months (Mar 2020-Sep 2020) in the Kansas City real estate market, home prices were UP by an astonishing 9.1% for the same period.
