On June 11th, 2020 God's faithful servant answered his last earthly call and went home to be with the Lord. His final days were spent at home, surrounded by lov...ed ones. He will be remembered in many different ways to many different people. Most knew him as Brother Tom a caring Pastor who preached the Gospel and was always available to talk, even about those hard truths, in a way that made sense to so many. Others knew him as Coach or Mr. Casady a coach and teacher throughout Southern Iowa into North Missouri and finally in Southwest Missouri. Some may even remember him as "Long Tom" a center pulling down rebounds and making hook shots at Ottumwa High School. A few are fortunate to know him as Great Grandpa, Grandpa, or Dad. Finally, two knew him as husband. No matter when you met this man or what you call him, chances are he made an impact in your life. It was just his gift, he was a difference maker in the life's of so many by preaching and teaching them about Jesus. So if you catch yourself thinking about Tom Casady today or sometime in the future, do what he would do, find a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger and tell them about the hope of Christ in you. Our families prayer is that his legacy will be remembered as one that points others to Christ, the same Christ we are looking to for peace, and trusting will be our comfort in the days ahead. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement and please know ... it is well with our souls!

Finally finished washing the building. The BSU could easily come to some of our smaller churches and help them do some spring cleaning. Let me know if we can come help you out.
