HOME SELLING TIPS 101 In today's world of HGTV buyers are looking for an experience when they start looking for a home. They want to fall in love with the house they decide to buy. There are some tips that will give them that experience they are looking for. 1. Homes that sell fast and attract buyers are homes that are painted neutral with a little splash of color in accessories such as pillows or an accent piece of furniture. 2. Keep the home clean and smelling fresh. I have... had buyers walk into a house with a unpleasant odor and walk right back out without seeing the rest of the house. 3. Cleaning the windows will go a long way in making your house feel open and clean. 4. Buy a nice front door mat and wreath for the door. It is welcoming and says, "Welcome Home!" 5. Buy white towels for the bathrooms and don't use them! When you have a showing put out the new towels for a sleek look. 6. You are moving so pack up wall decor, family photos, anything that is personal. Move out extra furniture. It's ok to put the boxes and furniture in the garage. Buyers understand you are moving. 7. We love our furry family members, but buyers can be turned off by pet dishes, hair or smells that we don't notice.
