Shift East Brew Fest

In case you can't wait for the festival to get some delicious craft beer! Come grab some tomorrow at Diametric Brewing Co in Lee's Summit. Several breweries will have to go brew ready for you to pick up! East Forty Brewing and Wind Shift Brewing will be there!

**SHIFT EAST BREW FEST BREWERY SPOTLIGHT** We can't wait for you to meet another brewery that will be joining us on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Shift East Brew Fest 2020 ~ 23rd Street Brewery. Established in 2006, the 23rd Street Brewery is a small, locally owned brewpub in Lawrence, KS. Matt Llewellyn, James Ferguson, Tucker Craig and the rest of their brew crew are located on the west side of Lawrence going towards beautiful Clinton Lake. With a 15 BBL brewery they average just under 1000 BBLs a year. They also distribute draught beer throughout the entire state of Kansas. 23rd St Brewery is a full service brewpub with daily food and drink specials. If you haven't tried them out yet, now's your chance!

**SHIFT EAST BREW FEST BREWERY SPOTLIGHT** We are thrilled that some of the breweries serving at Shift East Brew Fest 2020 are crossing the border from Kansas, including one of our favorites ~ Transport Brewery! With deep roots in Johnson County, Transport Brewery owners set out to open up a brewery close to home. As members of Johnson County Brewing Society and BJCP Certified Judges, they met years ago and started brewing together and aspiring one day have their beers shared by a community that they love. They opened in Shawnee in February 2019. They enjoy brewing locally in a historic structure, so the community will have a place to gather over eclectic, flavorful beers.

**SHIFT EAST BREW FEST BREWERY SPOTLIGHT** Another great brewery is joining us this year on Saturday, May 16, 2020 for Shift East Brew Fest 2020! We can't wait to see what they have in store for you! The team at Cinder Block Brewery all come from different places to make great things happen with beer. Bryce Schaffter grew up in Iowa working on tractors, studied agricultural science and earned his business degree. From welding his first brew stand, he’s come a long way and built an amazing team at Cinder Block that includes Bryan Bucky Buckingham, the head brewer and John Baikie, head keg whisperer. These guys know that perfection doesn’t come easy, but meticulously work through their process to ensure the highest quality brew makes it to your glass. They say it isn’t easy, but holy cow is it worth it!
