The Shelbina Police Department would like to warn the community of asphalt scammers. As the weather warms up, these scammers will be out. Please do not fall for the I have a little left on my truck, it won’t cost you much saying. In the end, you will be billed for several thousand dollars. The police department is currently working a case involving this type of scam. It is believed the foreman of the operation gave false identification. He also refused payment by check and wanted cash for obvious reasons. If you have information regarding these scammers, please contact the Shelbina Police Department. Captain Cole Hinshaw #801
