Something I suggest to all of our brides + grooms is to schedule in a 10-20 minute "slip away" at sunset on their wedding day. Reason #1: You get a quiet moment together away from all of your guests to just take everything in. Reason #2: Photos like this happen.

I honestly really like the quiet months of winter, but looking at photos like these make me want green trees back! This engagement session was so special because Sarah is one of my second shooters! Isn't she so beautiful? We were honored to shoot her and Daniel's wedding this last August.

I couldn't resist snapping this photo while we were shooting Cate & Josh's portraits... all of Cate's bridesmaids were peeking out of the getting ready room watching the couple get their photos taken and it was so sweet!
