Today, Mr. & Mrs. Meyer stopped by Shadowood to view a Richard Mather's home. While speaking with the couple they were happy to tell me that they had purchased their home from Richard 41 years ago and decided it was time to by their 2nd. Mr. Meyer asked, who had built the Linden plan that we were in? I said his son Brian Mather and he smiled and said that one of his son's was helping Richard the day they stopped by to see the progress of their new home and his son was in high... school at that time. They went to my sign in sheet, he looked at me and asked if I was on The Rob Ellerman Team, I said sir I am. Again, he smiled and told me that his granddaughter which was 3 years old at the time, got to ride her first pony at a Rob Ellerman Team Party years ago. The Missouri Dept. of Conservation just added about 360 catfish to Johnston Lake at Hawk Ridge Park, 701 Johnston Parkway. They'll be stocking the lake every fe...w weeks throughout the summer, so start fishing and perfecting your catfish recipes! All you need is a Missouri fishing license. Daily limit is 10. The fishing dock is open, but be careful to stay out of fenced construction areas.

The 2019 Project Grad Committee is selling barbeque baby back ribs as a fundraiser for the upcoming Project Grad Event. While it is still illegal to shoot fireworks in Raymore City Limits until July 1, the legal sale of fireworks in Raymore starts tomorrow and we all know that so...me people just can't seem to wait, unfortunately. Fireworks wreak havoc on the nerves of animals and lots of pets go missing during the Fourth of July holiday. If your pet is not wearing a collar with an ID tag yet, DO IT NOW! If your pet gets scared and runs off, this will help get him or her returned to you quickly! Be cautious when you do need to take your pet outdoors and check your gates to make sure your yard is secure. Call Raymore Police Department at 816-331-0530 to report illegal or unsafe fireworks activity.
