The health and well-being of our players, buddies, volunteers, their friends and families, and all of the fans of our players is our number one concern. Unfortunately due to the serious coronavirus outbreak we are going to postpone all Challenger baseball games. However, we will reevaluate the situation at the throughout the Spring and if we feel there is any risk to anyone we will continue to postpone games and events until we are satisfied everyone will be safe. It is very disappointing, but we are confident this is the right thing to do. If you have any questions please feel free to text or call me at (573) 683-1242. -Derrick
I’m heartbroken. I just learned that one of our Challenger parents has passed away. Todd Young was 110% supportive of Challenger Baseball and all that we are trying to do for those with Special Needs. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations on a weekly basis. You will be missed sir. May God bless your family during this time.

We can’t say thank you enough to the student athletes from Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape for coming down to help at yesterday’s game. Our players had a great time!
Homer was able to be in the American Legion Post 114 Sikeston, Missouri Cotton Carnival Parade today! Lots of high-fives, hugs, and photo ops. Thanks for supporting Challenger Baseball!
Thank you Notre Dame Regional High School Softball athletes and coaches for coming to be Buddies at our game today!
We are proud to team with Sikeston First Assembly Of God as they bring the Tim Tebow Foundation’s Night to Shine to our area! Volunteers are needed to make the event a huge success. We have added the link to sign up in the comments of this post. There are several areas where you can help. We’re excited that individuals with special needs will have a prom all their own!
I'm sorry to report that I have been notified that one of our Lions team players passed away this summer. Please continue to pray for the family of Troas Joyner. He's playing on God's team now.
We had a blast today! We'll play again next Saturday at 2pm!
We'll play at 2pm today at the Sikeston Sports Complex Basketball Courts! Homer will join us as well! We sure could use some buddies today. Bring a friend!
We are looking for someone to volunteer to be Homer for our games the next 5 Saturday afternoons at 2pm. You will be anonymous and will have the opportunity to make a lot of kids smile. Games last about an hour and the suit is breathable. Call or text (573) 683-1242 if interested.
Less than 2 hours from game time. It's a beautiful day for baseball! See you at 2pm at the Complex Basketball Courts!
Know a High School student looking for A+ or Club service hours? Tag them in this post. We would love to help! Jr. High students too!
