This past Tuesday we were excited to be able to be a part of the 21st annual Purina Cares Day! Purina sent a great group to volunteer at the Saint Louis University Teaching Garden and Orchard. The group concentrated their efforts in the orchard pulling several yard waste dumpsters full of weeds and spreading lots of mulch. This coming Tuesday, May 24, at 4:00 pm is our last School Meetup for the school year! Last week we had a big garden install at Brittany Woods Middle School! This garden redesign was done all by students that are a part of their Sustainability Club and they were such an impressive group! We removed and replaced the boards of the existing 4 beds. We also added two new beds on the outside of the fence and 2 double-high beds on the inside.
