The calm before the storm... We had our first SE3 picnic at the Chicago Metro office last Saturday. We grilled, played games, and a few of us even jumped in the bounce house (before the rain caught up to us)! Here at SE3, we call ourselves family. This has always been, and always will be, our primary focus.

One of the things that makes SE3 unique is the individuals that dedicate their time and efforts to different organizations outside of the office. The SE3 Chicago Office is proud to share with you the achievements of Philip Minga, P.E. While Phil has been with the company for about a year and a half, he has dedicated 22 years as a Trustee and 34 years of Fire Department service to the Village of Flossmoor. The Village has recognized Phil’s commitment and presented on two separate occasions, a Resolution honoring his services. Thank you for being a leader in the community, Phil!

SE3 is pleased to welcome Mr. Robert Orr, RG, CHMM, CSEM, to our St. Louis, Missouri office. Bob is a native of St. Louis and brings more than 30 years of experience from positions in both the public and private sectors. Bob has a diverse background in the fields of transportation, planning and environmental studies throughout the United States for federal, municipal, industrial and private clients. Bob has managed projects in Missouri, Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and Nebraska. Bob is responsible for leading and further developing SE3's St. Louis Office. Bob will work with our clients to ensure delivery of timely, reliable, cost-effective, and efficient solutions. We are truly excited to have him join our team!

SE3 is pleased to welcome Mr. Rafael Herrera, P.E. to our Chicago Metro office. Rafael joins our group as Vice President bringing over 20 years of varied experience in the Civil Engineering industry. Through his background in construction management and business development, Rafael has gained expertise in business operations, project delivery, staffing and client relations. He has served as project principal and manager for dozens of successful IDOT, CDWM, CDOT, CTA, CDA a...nd Illinois Tollway projects. Rafael is a respected leader in the industry and involved with several industry organizations such as Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA), ACEC and ASCE. Rafael is passionate about the work he does for the greater Chicagoland area and is dedicated to the advancement of diversity within our industry. We are truly excited to have him join our team of talented engineers!
