The school received notification today that an elementary staff member tested positive for COVID-19. The school and the health department will be calling parents of students who had direct and sustained contact with the individual who tested positive. If you do not receive a phone call from the health department, your child was not in direct and sustained contact with the individual who tested positive. The health department will be quarantining 6 staff members and 18 students who had direct and sustained contact as defined by the CDC and health department. Due to HIPPA and FERPA regulations, the school cannot release information which could identify the individual. The school will be notifying parents of students that are quarantined by Tuesday on all of the methods that will be used to deliver instruction to those students.
