Due to the weather forecast through Saturday, Nov. 14, the Parks Department is moving the Trail Work Day scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14 to Sunday, Nov. 15. Please mark your calendar and join parks staff and and members of Gateway Off-Road Cyclists (GORC) from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15 to assist with carving out trails at Matson Hill Park, 670 Matson Hill Road in Defiance. Pre-register at stccparks.org and click on "Activity Registration" or call St. Charles County Parks at 636-949-7535.

The St. Charles County Youth Activity Park, 7801 Town Square Ave. in Dardenne Prairie, will soon get a new name and have a new look! The new development, which includes a new adventure center, water and play areas, and more, is anticipated to begin next summer. Take a look at the future plans and let us know what you think the park should be renamed. Grab your bike, a light and hit the trails at night! Take advantage of this great weather and ride with members of Gateway Off-Road Cyclists and St Louis Area Mountain Bikers (SLAMB) in your scenic St. Charles County Parks. These challenging rides are free and open to experienced cyclists. Riders must wear a helmet and have a 600 lumen light to participate.
