I over bought on Broccoli for the salads so I thought tomorrow I will do a few side dishes that could actually be a meal in itself. Brunch Menu! New Items this week: Kolaches made with fresh peaches from Sandy Bottom Farms Produce and fresh local blackberries!

Very difficult to find, a small amount of unsprayed chemical-free local peaches! Maybe not gorgeous on the outside, these beauties have that "inner beauty" tha...t we like. Most peaches have at least six or more sprays (fungicides and insecticides) applied to them as they have earned their permanent place in the "Dirty Dozen". We've been wanting to get some peaches and turn them into all sorts of "deliciousity", but haven't wanted to give a fungicide/pesticide-laden product to our family and our customers, as we keep looking for the HEALTHIEST local produce we can grow or find. Sometimes you find that in small places, away from intensive orchards, in a place where there are only a few trees. Good lesson! Kudos to Bradley Hodge Hayes at Sandy Bottom Farms Produce for having these unsprayed peaches! We'll turn them into something good soon!
