Oh my Just got a call from listing agent of a home I showed yesterday. I was the last person that saw the owner alive. This poor frail lady, in her 90s and dementia ridden, sat alone in her outdated, dilapidated home while my investor looked around. She was on oxygen and kept telling me the fireplace worked.... About 90 pounds and wearing older clothes and slippers, she told me she was going to go live with her daughter. Her bent fingers fumbles with her zipper on her jacket. Cold and shivering. On a 90 degree day in her home with AC. Listing agent told me this morning that she died yesterday. We were the last to see her. Life is short.
