Salon Meraki will be closed until January 5th. There has been a covid exposure and we are now awaiting test results and are on precautionary quarantine. Fingers crossed it’s only exposure and not the real deal. Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused for holiday appointments and I hope you all are continuing to stay healthy. ... With a few strokes of the color brush, we brighten this babe right up with some balayage highlights. We did nothing to her natural color and used it as our base color for a lower maintenance style. I just went through and added in some subtle balayged highlights for a more natural, and brighter feel. While the lighting is slightly different in both photos, the difference of color in her before and after is clear.... I think it turned out beautiful. See more

Today makes year 7 that my salon doors have been open and what a wild ride. I have learned so much about this industry in these 7 years. I have met so many people, created so many relationships and grown as an individual and artist. I celebrated today by doing something I rarely do and just took care of/pampered myself. I appreciate everyone’s continued support and business. Thank you for helping this small town gal make her dreams a reality.

In my opinion warm tones honestly don’t get the credit they deserve. I see an overwhelming trend of everyone wanting to cancel out any/all shades of warmth to live in a land of Ash. While Ash colors truly are beautiful, red/coppers deserve a little credit too. I genuinely love the Red Family. The richness, vibrancy and shine they put out can sometimes be hard to beat. I mean just look how much life this copper based color gave back to her hair.

In a hair world loaded with Balayges and Shadow Roots, sometimes the look of a basic full foil and tone just hits the spot

Please cancel your hair appointments if you yourself have been sick or if you have recently been in immediate contact with someone that has been sick. This is in place for more than just COVID, but especially for it. Please remember that I am self employed and I do not get sick days or time off, instead I get no income at all for the time I have to take off if infected. You may not have symptoms, but that doesn’t mean myself, my family, or my next client won’t. Please remember to be considerate and compassionate, your cute hair is never more important than someone else’s physical health.
