Let's be real... it's the self-care version of "are we there yet?" I hear it from stylists just as much as I hear it from clients. Foils in (or almost in), kicked back & relaxing, then you get a buzz. "Where are you? How much longer? You STILL have foils in your hair? How is it taking THIS long?"... & sometimes, we're not even at the half way mark! The sooner we normalize that what the majority of us want on our heads is legitimate ART, the sooner so's (and even ourselves) will understand it may need to be a day spent away. Seriously. Timing needs to be talked about more because we are no longer just foiling & going. There is blending, multi dimensional toning, root melting, treatments, cuts, styles and of course, the much needed photoshoot. To put it in other words for the misunderstood so's, we don't "just do hair." We're artists & there's no time limit on that. Expectations for results have changed (majorly), so timing expectations need to mirror that.

We would like to apologize for any unreturned calls or messages! We are currently still closed due to orders from the CDC because we are located adjacent to a Senior Living community. We are very anxious to return and miss you all very much!! We promise WE WILL BE BACK!! We will keep you posted!

There our a lot of seniors alive today that fought for our freedom and ones who also survived the Great Depression. The smallest thing we can do is make sure they feel good about themselves in their glory years! It’s not about me returning to work. It’s about the elderly! They fought for us.. let’s fight for them.

Hello! Hope everyone is well as can be, under these circumstances. I receive several calls a day asking if we are open. I wish we were. Under orders from our state officials, St. Louis City and County, we can not officially open until the 18th of May. With that being said: Our circumstances are a little different. Our salon is connected to a senior living community. There has been absolutely zero cases reported from our favorite neighbors! Thank God! Our seniors have gone ...over 2 months with no visitors or a simple weekly luxury to them.. getting thier hair done. We are also open to the public. We are trying to work out a schedule where the public and seniors are not in the salon at the same time. We CANNOT risk contaminating the elderly that have compromised immune systems. To keep our staff and clients safe, we hope you understand. We are also having a hard time purchasing mandatory/essential items that we need to re-open. All of our staff have been unemployed since March. It’s been hard for us to pay the outlandishly crazy prices many companies are asking for the essentials. We miss our clients!
