What is stamina??? Stamina is strength and energy that allows your body to last longer during exercise! Increasing stamina usually helps endure discomfort & stress during exercise. Sounds awesome right? How do we do that?! Here are some tips on how you can increase stamina in no time 1. Combining strength days with cardio days will challenge your cardiovascular system and it will get more muscles working! For example: after a set of squats, jump rope for a minute then go ...back & do another set! 2. Decreasing rest time between sets is a great way to teach your body how to recover in a small amount of time and increase endurance. Only take a long break if you physically cannot go on! 3. Lifting weights at a fast pace, not only will increase your strength but your endurance as well! Also it helps increase your metabollism. So lift those weights as fast as you can!! 4. Doing exercises that target several muscle groups is beneficial to increase stamina since it is targeting several muscles instead of one. The more muscles you work, the higher the stamina! For example: instead of doing leg curls, do squat thrusters or step-ups. 5. Avoid routine workouts! Weird right?? Switching up workouts helps the body build up endurance & stamina. Joint mobility is SO important! Having joint mobility allows your muscles to work & do their job properly. As well perform exercises and daily activities with a full range of motion. Here are some tips on how you can improve joint mobility: 1. Doing warm-up & cooling down exercises before/after a workout can increase your range of motion in your joints. It is also beneficial for your muscles-improving flexibility. We want to avoid our muscles being tight because that can le...ad to injuries and joint pain! 2. Use a foam roller! Using a foam roller can help relieve muscle tightness, soreness, & inflammation. As well increase your range of motion! Using a foam roller is recommended before as well after a workout! 3. Consuming a good amount of calcium-rich foods is great for the bones and helps improve stability as well mobility in your joints! Go Vitamin D!! 4. Do specific exercises on each joint! Sitting down and performing short exercises on each joint can go a long way. It will strengthen your joint as well increase mobility each time you perform the exercise. 5. Massages are amazing! Massages are a great way to work on muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massages can help relax tight muscles, keep your joints more fluid and decrease the chances of injury. Massages also increase flexibility due to tight muscles being more relaxed! Doing some of these can overall improve joint mobility and flexibility.
