Thanks to everyone who came out to the Christkindlesmarkt! It was a huge success and many of our vendors sold out! We heard that some of the new German Christmas market foods were a hit! And it was great to see joy on the faces of so many--eyes sparkled through masks and there was excitement in the air. We plan to do this annually so keep in touch and be sure to let other potential vendors know about this event. One comment many visitors had was that they were impressed with the high quality of artists represented. It truly was what an authentic German Christmas market is about--and we intend to keep it that way because that is what makes it so unique. People can come and find unusual gifts, support independent artists and learn about their German heritage.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for all the staff, students, & volunteers who have worked hours to prepare for our first Christkindlesmarkt on SPLHS campus. Th...e excitement and wait is almost over. This makes us think how Mary & Joseph must have been so excited when they awaited Jesus birth. Thank you so for loving us so much when we continue to sin and let the worldly things affect our thoughts & actions. Help us to share you love with all who may be visiting our campus & community this weekend. As the Advent season excites us, keep us calm & enjoying the anticipation of an event so amazing it changed the world. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. See more
