One day you will have to choose to push through or give up. Take the narrow road. One day you will have to choose to forgive or hang onto bitterness. Take the narrow road. One day you will have to choose to stand alone in truth or be in the company of lies. Take the narrow road. One day you will have to choose between real freedom and free chains. Take the narrow road. One day you will have to choose between the brokenness that comes from humility or the brokenness that comes from pride. Either way you fall, but it’s how you want to land that matters. Take the narrow road. One day you will have to choose between the world or Jesus. Take the narrow road. There is a broad road that runs right beside it and it’s so tempting to take it. Because The narrow road is difficult, The narrow road is less crowded, The narrow road is focused and keeps you hemmed in, but it leads to life. Trust me, I’ve traveled both. When sheep fall down on their backs, they can't get up. This is called a cast sheep. They need a shepherd to help them get back on their feet. In scripture, Jesus tells us that He is the Good Shepherd. He knows His sheep and His sheep know Him. Do you think when Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd that He knew there would be times in our lives that we would fall down and couldn't get back up without Him? He knows His sheep.
