The Christmas season for all of us will be celebrated a little different this year, and that includes the gifts that we share with our Neighbors in Need. For our adult neighbors, we are only asking for gift cards, for our younger neighbors we are asking for gifts. To share Christmas with those in need; donation can be made in three different ways. First is the traditional way of taking an ornament off the tree, purchasing a gift and returning it to church. And this year we wi...ll have two additional ways to donate, an online sign up for ornaments, and a monetary donations to the Sacred Heart SVDP conference/Christmas Gifting and we will put the money towards gifts for our Neighbors in Need for Christmas. Thank you for sharing the joy of Christmas with neighbors in needs. Ornament Sign Up Link: https://docs.google.com//1kYAoJwkYgmnyHUbE7gCH1zY6v2/edit

Blessing of Veterans There are so many veterans in our county now. It used to be that veterans were a small contingency in our communities. It did not take that much effort to care for and, once a year, thank them. Now, however, with so many wars in violent parts of the world, there are more veterans than we can compassionately care for. There are many men and women who come back from the service who are wounded for life, either physically, mentally, or emotionally. On this Veterans Day, let us remember those who have served our country, but more than remember, let us redouble our efforts to care for those still with us.
