One of the options for a topsoil/rock screener is a vibrator. These vibrate the screen deck to get material off the screen faster. Some machines don't have a vibrator and will tell you they work just as good without them. Do your research, a good vibrator will speed up the process and keep your screen clear. The vibrator pack on the Desite SLG Screeners is a well built 110 volt unit. It comes with a 1 year warranty. If using a generator please make sure you are using a 3500 watt unit for the SLG-68 & 78 units and for the SLG-108 use a 5000 watt generator as it has 2 of these vibratory packs.

When working with dirt from day to day it might be moist and it might be dry. Depending on the moisture content can mean screening dirt quickly, or slowly with dirt hanging up on or in the screen mesh. Desite Screeners allow the screen deck to be angled from 30 degrees to 45 degrees by loosening the bolts on both sides and moving the screen deck to the angle you want. For dry dirt, you want it to be at a 45 degree angle to get off the screen deck faster, if it is clumpy then you want it to have more time to break apart so a 30 degree angle would work better. Looking at the picture those bolts you see for both sides is what you need to loosen to change the screen deck angle.
