Yesterday I distributed 260 turkeys as a part of First Saturday’s hosted by the Total Man Organization and Senator-Elect Barbara Washington. Many thanks to Bonita Powell, Sen. Washington, our donors, volunteers and Swope Health who worked to make this possible! Together, we distributed turkeys to 510 families. This collaboration allowed me to accomplish a personal goal for my 50th Birthday - to ensure 500 families have a Turkey for Thanksgiving! #TogetherWeCan

Proud to present on Ordinance 200937 that bans flavor vaping and tobacco products. Young people and communities of color are disproportionately targeted to consume tobacco products. These products contribute to negative health impacts like cancer and other cardiovascular diseases. This ordinance is about addressing our life expectancy issues in Kansas City and saving lives.
