Hello saber junkies! Recently I received a message asking why the prices of my hilts were higher than that of places like The Pach Store when, and I quote "Their's look much better than yours". Well that part is an objective artistical question I can't answer to be honest, and I like the Pach stores products personally, and believe they're doing a great job producing affordable sabers for the community. But the reasons my sabers are at the price they are I can answer with the...se photos below and a bit of an explanation. I basically start with slabs of steel and mold them into what they become. It was also implied that my hilts are no different than any MHS saber. And this is also answered in the photo's below. I don't buy pieces of hilts to make mine, I make each piece myself. A lot of the cost boils down to a lot of time and work. I'll say this, if I charged what I get paid as a machinist, my hilts would be in the thousands. But one of the reasons I do this is because I enjoy it so much. I work over 40 hours a week at Wade Saber, on top my day job, to produce the few hilts I'm able to produce. I also do all the electronics and powdercoating in shop. The love of the work and the interactions with the community is what makes it worth while. I'm not upset by these questions and accusations, just fyi. I get it. Without knowing what I'm hoping to explain here I would probably be wondering the same thing. So I hope the photos and explanations below help explain this to anyone that is wondering. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I believe I'll pin it to the top of my page for others to see. First etched Master Sentinel by Joshua Gamble Thank you Josh for this work of art!
First etched MASTER SENTINEL! This etching was done by Joshua Gamble - remember that name folks, I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of it. https://www.facebook.com/joshua.gamble.14 I gave him complete artistic freedom and the outcome was awesome! I had not seen anything of the completed hilt. Didn't want any pictures or giveaways, just wanted to be suprised. You can make fun of my reading if you would like to. I do

The first lightsaber I built found its way home! Made from steel, this Luke V2 was my first. It's not here to stay (unfortunately) - it's here for a much needed upgrade and complete makeover!
The Master Sentinel powdercoating/etching parts breakdown. This hilt has so many different parts to it that something like this is needed to help everyone clearly see and name each part that is to be powdercoated or etched. It's meant to help everyone to differentiate each customizable part. Use this diagram with your finisher for easily explaining each part... An example of this woud be #1 transparent gold #2 polished aluminum (same) #3 polished aluminum (same) #4 flat black #5 flat black #6 gray #7 transparent gold #8 flat black #9 polished aluminum(same) #10 transparent gold #11 black cross sections - transparent copper 2nd coat. *(This is just an example) Bonus - the dozen gemstone colors shipped with each Wade Sabers order.
Hello saber fans! Today I sent out an invoice for all those still needing to pay the balance and/or the shipping. Everyone was sent and invoice, but if for some reason you didn't get one first check your spam folder and junk folder if it's not there then contact me via messenger and we'll figure out a different approach. Thank you!
Gemstones anyone? :D

MASTER SENTINEL UPDATE! Plus bonus DRAMA ADDRESSED! Take notice of a few things in this video. One is I say it's not going to be a 30 minute video, yet that's exactly what it is. Another I say I'm not going to go into details of the drama and then proceed to go into the details anyway! ... FYI - no one was banned during the making of this video.
An interesting install with a unique crystal shine through - this hilt is from Kennedy Custom Props

Okay, that's a lot of T-Grips
It's coming along nicely :D
Wade Sabers has a new addition to the family! Stenciling for powdercoating is just around the corner! First I guess I need to learn how to use it!
Just a sneak peek "Master Sentinel" what do you guys think of the name?
Been working non-stop on this hilt. I've got the center shroud ready to ship off to Jeremy Puckett for etching, so I wanted to take a few progress pics before I send that piece off. The brass will be gold plated later on. I've got material ordered for the grip section. Ordered 3 different powders for the grip section shroud, will have to test them to see which will work best. Still a hell of a lot to do on this but I'm going to set it to the side for a few weeks to work on another project. Just had to share these pics. Pay close attention to the last one - when lathes attack!
