Missouri Trail Riders & Other Riders Alike! **ALERT** Please voice yourself in things that matter. As trail riders and equine enthusiasts we find this subject very important. I've posted the information in three parts for research and to become aware. Option C is what's needed to keep up on the trails in the Current River Location and Surrounding Community Riding area! Campgrounds in this area that are heavily impacted are: Pinecrest, Whispering Pines, Flying W, and Big... Creek just to name a few. This is a continuing battle that we as riders need to be involved in and share to do what we can. The trail riding area near and located in the upper Current River area are not "designated trails" by the NPS & ONSR. Since the trails are not "official", we stand a big chance of losing these trails. Please use the contact info listed and make aware to the park service that you want Option C. Please understand that this is Federal land so all citizens, trail riders, etc. personal preference is very significant. This IS NOT limited to just Missouri riders only! Windchester is a beautiful and solid trail Gelding. He is half Draft Horse & Half Quarter Horse. He would make a wonderful Western Dressage Prospect and/or Trail Horse. He goes out on the trail alone or with other horses just fine. He stands 16 hands tall and is built to carry most individuals.
