I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year and also let everyone know that I have moved to Afton Oklahoma 25050 South 510 road. I am officially retired but might consider giving some special lessons, I am finally moved and in the process of settling in. I'm looking for a name for the new place if anyone has suggestions feel free

Kay Wilkin's log cabin in Plumtree, N.C.- The restored log cabin at Plumtree, known as the "Burleson Cabin," is said to be one of the oldest cabins still standi...ng in Avery County. It is thought to date to Revolutionary times and may have been standing when the Overmountain Men defeated the British at Kings Mountain in 1780. Aaron Burleson, a Welshman, came to America in 1726 in search of his brother Sir Edward Burleson. When he didn’t find him, Aaron settled in what was then Buncombe County, N.C. Four of his sons died fighting in the Revolution. (Photo by by Nancy Hayes,2004) See more

Horses teach us to ask without aggression, how to love without condition, and how to avoid the destructive side of perfection. They teach us to sublimate oneself through sharing, giving, and healing. - Dominique Barbier Moment captured by Keron Psillas

134 years ago... Many have seen this picture of Ethan Allen 3rd. Did you know: this was the only picture of him at the age of 26 years ever taken. It was at the... 1911 Vermont Fair where he won his class. His true name was: Borden's Ethan Allen 3rd reg. 3987 Born: 1885 62 crosses to Justin Morgan 62 True Briton (sire of Justin Morgan). In 13 generations only one line went directly back to Godolphin Arabian. In 32 lines on Ethan's five generations pedigree one represented Tom Morgan. His sire was True Briton who was (Justin Morgan's sire) Tom Morgan's dam was the daughter of Justin Morgan. Within the following generation's of Ethan are the following: (1) 5 crosses to Justin Morgan (JM) in 9 generations (2) 7 crosses to JM in 8 generations (3) 7 crosses to JM in 7 generations (4) 10 crosses to JM in 6 generations He was identified as the " Head of Vermont Morgans". HORSE-DRAWN: A truck that got stuck in an icy driveway in south Minnesota got a lift from two Belgian draft horses. The horse's owner said while the animals regularly pull heavy loads, a semi-trailer was a first for them. https://abcn.ws/2PpmHeI
