The key legislation is the Copyright Alternative in Small Claims Enforcement Act (CASE Act). This creates a "small-claims" court ($30,000 in damages) within the U.S. Copyright Office that provides an easy, affordable, and accessible way for all copyright owners, from artists and songwriters to photographers and authors, to file claims of infringement and other grievances.
