The Rosebuds

Start your week with a pop of color! This Baronne Prevost is a Hybrid Perpetual rose, popular in the 19th century (before 1841).

We hope the blooms that are beginning to appear in the garden are a sign of brighter days ahead!

The first blooms are here! Our Father Hugo roses (Rosa Hugonis), which were introduced in 1905, are a fitting first on this sunny Sunday. A symbol of strength, resilience and a brighter tomorrow.

On this somber #EarthDay, we are reminded that an empty seat is waiting for all of us to rest and reflect on how nature impacts our lives. Blooms are just waiting to open and be seen, knowing they might inspire us to take better care of our planet. When you return to the garden, take a seat. It will change your life.

Today we celebrate the birthday of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, with her namesake rose. The breed's key trait? It is simply indestructible.
