Rocky Acre Farm

Beatrice got it done yesterday and with that we have finally finished kidding season at the Rocky Acre! Bea put a couple of big girls on the ground. Names pending. We are excited to see how they all turn out this year, should have some good one!

Got busy this past week and forgot to post these little cuties! Cash delivered a buck and a doe last Thursday afternoon! Meet Millie and Goose! Wasn't sure we would ever get these guys here, Cash was put in with the buck with the first set of does and apparently didn't cooperate until after the second round of does!

So yesterday started off with a bang! Went to the barn to find Annie with two kids and working on a third! Unfortunately the first one was stillborn, and the last one hit the ground and had to have a little help getting started, but started breathing and squalling pretty quick! Then got a call from Jamison that he got a flat tire on his way home from doing chores for a friend! Looks like a little break before the last 2 round out this kidding season, guess they must have not been in the "mood" when the others were! Lol

Well looky here! Delilah, another first timer had these kids on the ground, dried and up eating by the time the boys got home today! Another boy and girl, makes 15 total so far.
