The Rockwood Summit High football team is calling on a group of its alumni to serve as guiding influences for the Falcons' current players. Rockwood Summit started a mentorship program over the summer that has led to more than 50 current players being paired with alumni for one-on-one interactions. Summit is also teaming up with alumni in the St. Louis area to put on a series of "Be a Man" events that teach Falcons players valuable lessons for life beyond football, including a recent hands-on automobile maintenance demonstration that also gave the students a chance to talk with law enforcement officers about what to expect if they're ever pulled over.
