Rock Garden Christian Camp

It has been brutal weather the past couple of weeks. Trying to keep everything from freezing has been challenging. However today it is such a beautiful winter wonderland. God is good.

Monday we had 3" of rain and flooding. Wednesday we have 3" of snow. Love living in the Ozarks.

We had some rain at Rock Garden Camp last night and this morning. Lost Camp Creek and 11 point are running.

Started a new project this week. The ole' storage shed next to the managers house is in need of replacement. We built up a pad to build a new shed on with large rocks and filled in with crushed base rock. Tore down the "lean-to" on the ole' shed. Moved the ole' shed out of the way. Built a new wood shed with all recycled material that we had here at the camp. The wood shed cost $0. I will buy some paint and paint it to match the house and new shed. Now we are waiting on the our concrete man to get a slab poured to build a new shed on. We have enough money in the construction account for this project. We've been busy here at Rock Garden. After hauling all the logs in the last post, it took a while to split and haul all the firewood from the tops of the trees. We have about 20ish rank of wood stored in the ol' barn. Also have done some more trail work, making trail signs and putting them up. We created a "scenic view" overlooking 11 point creek, you can see the bridge on hwy 17, and see the camp across the field. These trails are open if you would like to hike, mtn. bike, SXS, ATV, or horse ride. Thank you for your support of Rock Garden Camp.

We have two new chair carts. Pomona Christian Church and Mtn. View Christian Church recently donated a bunch of metal chairs. We needed carts to put them on. We now have 242 chairs in the gym, and about 140 in the Tabernacle. We were going to buy new chairs before the camp season. We didn't due to the cancellation. Now we have plenty of chairs. God is good!!

God is so good!! Everyone knows that we cancelled our 2020 camp season, and there was concern about the financial condition of RGCC to start the 2021 season. It has been amazing to see how God has provided. Individuals and Church's have stepped up and have sent donations beyond our expectation. There is an individual that donates $20 per week through the Tithe.ly app. There are some families that donate $100 per month. There is another family that donates $300 per month. The...re are several families that donate different amounts at different times. Several of the church's that support the camp monthly have sent special donations that are in the thousands. Yesterday, (12-7-20) we received a $10,000 donation from an individual. My heart is filled with gratitude, I am humbled, words cannot express our thankfulness to everyone who has sacrificed their hard earned money to further the ministry of Rock Garden Camp. I am happy to say that we are fully funded to start the 2021 camp season. However, there are still many projects and improvements that are still needed. All of the projects have been put on hold till funds are available. Thank you for your support, prayers, and commitment to Rock Garden Christian Camp. Take America Back! 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. All Christians must take this serious. "My people called by my name", Christians have the name of Christ. "Humble themselves", put all selfish pride away from us. "Pray and seek My face", pray like we never have before, chase after the... presence of God. "Turn from our wicked ways", put all sin out of our hearts and minds, stop being a Christian on Sunday, and like everyone else Monday through Saturday, be a Christian everyday. "Then", He said "then", which means we must do our part first. God can't do His part till we do our part first. We must put forth the effort first!. "Then He will hear from Heaven". After we do our part first, then He will hear our prayer. "And forgive our sin", first we must confess our sins, and ask forgiveness. "And heal our land", we desperately need healing in our land. Christians must take a stand against the evil that has infiltrated our land. We need a Spiritual Healing in America. Let's put out the rally cry to Take America Back! See more
