First up, Rock N Sports Entertainment will continue business as normal & require face masks for entry into the store (max occupancy of 8 people), & hours still 10:00 to 5:30 Tuesday through Saturday. We are committed to providing a safe environment for everyone & currently feel it’s in everyone’s best interest to stay the course with the same restrictions of the past couple months. On a brighter note, this pile of awesome Pokémon & DS games just got brought in. Still unsure if you should sell off some games in 2020? This guy just walked out of here with over $350 cash for that cart only collection of games. Again, gaming is pretty hot, prices are spiked & I’ll gladly pay premium prices during this mess to make Rock N Sports your best destination to not only buy games but sell games too!

Hope everyone remains safe & responsible during the Halloween festivities this weekend. We are closing at 4:00 today & have chosen not to participate in the downtown trick or treating (starts at 4:00 today). However, we do have free candy (including plenty of chocolate) & tons of great Halloween/Horror themed movies if you’d like to come by beforehand, shop with normal social distancing policies, and help me eat all of this candy.

I think it’s been about 18 months since my last Vectrex found its way in here. But here you go, another fully functional & vintage Vectrex system, complete with detachable controller. Consoles nearly as old as me aren’t something you see everyday. Came in with a few games if you’re interested in actually playing it. Thanks Josh for unearthing this treasure & bringing it by the store. $389.95. And remember, last one sold pretty much instantly. First come, first serve! We probably won’t have many opportunities to acquire another one for awhile.

A whole collection of Scream Factory Blu Ray movies came in this morning (some steelbooks, some with slips). If you see any you are specifically interested in, let me know or stop by soon. I’ll probably keep about 50% of them here & list the remaining into our ebay store. Lots of cult horror!

Figured I’d do a quick upload of a few cards that came in today. Mostly just low end rookie cards but a good way of picking up JA Morant, Zion Williamson, Luis Robert, Clyde Edwards Helaire, Ohtani without breaking the bank. Autographs include Priest Holmes & Hunter Dozier (also pretty inexpensive).

Here is a little of the random purchases to finish the week: a pretty collectible Atari 2600 game, Polaris (CIB), a 1996 Talking Mr. Mike from Toy Story, a few horror related NECA figures, a decent collection of Blu Ray movies including Steelbook’s, a nice PS Vita collection (mostly RPG’s), a Limited Edition 500 Million Seller PS4 controller, and a Scuf Vantage PS4 controller. We have loads of systems including Xbox One X & PS4 Pro’s. Normal hours, open 10:00 to 5:30 Tuesday through Saturday.

A true unicorn in today: an original 360 (that isn’t broken w/ RLOD). All jokes aside, it’s not something we buy often but it was a bundle buy & it’s tested & cheap! $39.95. Also in, some great PS4 games and some above average Blu Ray (Criterion, Vinegar Syndrome). And had to take these cards to get the good stuff, but here are some .10 cent baseball cards, with HOF’ers galore including Nolan Ryan, Ozzie Smith & more.

Lots of new stuff coming in since our last inventory update. We traded the Jeter SP Rookie but added a few more cards (mostly graded vintage including a couple of Mantle’s). Also in, some horror related vinyl soundtracks, DBZ manga books, a high end Metal Gear statue, a PSP Go (never see these anymore), some nice PS1 heavy hitters, a nice PSP collection, and a signed Motörhead/Lemmy CD. Well, I guess you can say I’ve been in the mood to expand the card section of the store the past few weeks. Here are a few more cards going into the display case including a VMAX Charizard, a certified George Brett autograph, a few Josh Staumont autographs, 4 Patrick Mahomes Spellbound inserts (all serially numbered) and a few more above average Pokémon holographics. I won’t say I’ll buy cards regularly but as the market is spiked, I’ll consider your high end Pokémon or currently relevant sports cards. Fair cash offers daily!

How has the school year been so far? Bored yet??? Well, we have a plethora of gaming in right now! From retro systems including GameCube, N64, Wii’s, and PS2’s to modern including Switch systems (gen 1 & gen 2), Xbox One S 1TB, PS4 slims, 3 PS4 Pro’s including 2 Limited Editions, we’ve got you covered. We even have an Oculus Quest CIB. We have been crazy busy buying consoles left & right this week so we should have the best selection in the area.
