Helllloooo out there! Warning: Long post, but if you've considered a massage during these strange, strange times, read on: I have had to re-think, on every level, how to move forward as a massage therapist. I had to walk away from my beautiful, elegant location at Clarity Float Spa, and for six months I set up my festival massage digs in the backyard and did outdoor massage with a fan, and it was lovely and safe. Maybe my favorite office ever! Then the chill autumn winds ki...cked in... I believe I have found a solution, that will minimize risk and bring much needed healing to some stressed out bodies!! WHAT HAS CHANGED, TO KEEP US SAFE: 1) I have a new location! A small house with a collective of midwives. The location has been home to natural births and wholistic healing, in various forms, for decades. It isn't fancy! But still lovely. And MOST IMPORTANTLY: There are very, very few people in the building each week. Most of the time we do a massage, we will be the only ones there, and it may have been several days since anyone else breathed in the building. ALSO: this location lowers my overhead, and I can greatly reduce the number of massages I do. So only one a day, two if you are in the same family/bubble. 2) You get a free KN95 mask with each massage. Please use it! Then, you can sanitize it and stick it in the sunshine and use it again (they really are the best and keeping not just others but yourself safe. 3)I have an air purifier, with UV (virus killing) light, that sit's right by your head during the massage. 4) All surfaces are now sanitizable, and will all be sanitized!. Which means no fabric chairs, no shared blankets or table warmers, I'll keep the room toasty and have extra flannel sheets for you to layer up! 5)Two windows in the room, which will be open for ventilation, except for on the days it's too cold! 6) I've altered my routine, I use hand sanitizer while working on your hands, I duck below the headrest while working on your neck, and so on. There is a wheelchair ramp! Finally! And one last thing to keep in mind: We are going to all have to be flexible. Whearas before, I never worried about working on someone that has a cold, this year we will have to be more careful. If I or you have symptoms, we'll have to reschedule. Our kids being home or being sick could complicate things, and two or three times a year there'a birth in the building! Which also means we better reschedule. But I'm excited, and I hope to see some of you soon! Have a safe holiday season, remember, make good choices now and hopefully we'll get to have all our family with us again next year! Yay for Zoom!

Mother's Day is in 10 days! I will be working in my massage studio that day, and I think we should have an all-mom day. Prenatal massage included! Give your wife or mom a massage to help them relax, because if anyone is busting their butt and needing a massage...its the moms. Three appointments left! Text (573)355-1454 for availability!
