Dear Robinson & Ries Orthodontic Patients, We are excited to get back to work and see everyone! We hope this letter finds you healthy, happy and prepared to ease back into regular routines. Much has changed since we saw you last. We are all still coming to grips with the COVID-19 pandemic and the events it triggered. We want to update you on our office, our measured re-opening, and the steps we are taking to keep our patients and our team healthy. Our office has re-opened ...this week. We will be following rigorous scheduling protocols and office measures to ensure the safety and well-being of you, our patients, and the team members at Robinson & Ries Orthodontics. We ask for your patience. We had to cancel over 1000 appointments over the last 7 weeks. We have already begun rescheduling patients on a first-canceled-first-rescheduled basis, which is fair, efficient, and will serve everyone. Our office procedures have temporarily changed and will include the following: APPOINTMENTS: Please wait for our office to call you to reschedule your appointment. We have a comprehensive list of every appointment canceled, including the day and time. If you have not heard from us by May 15th, please feel free to give us a call. VISITS: When you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your car. The signs posted in the parking lot will instruct you to call 573-446-0700 to check in for your appointment. We are requesting only the patient being treated enter the office. One parent may attend if they deem it is necessary. Please bring your own mask and wear it to your appointment. Federal guidelines for social distancing and wearing masks in businesses continue. A simple questionnaire assessing your contacts, travel, and well-being will be asked of all patients prior to entering our office. Any question indicating recent exposure to someone with COVID-19 or having signs and symptoms of the same will be asked to reschedule their appointment. For an undetermined period of time, we are only seeing patients every other chair in our clinic. This limits the number of patients that can be seen in a given day. Individuals with multiple broken brackets may not have everything completed during their visit due to our strict scheduling times. We ask for your understanding. GENERAL: You will find upon arrival that our furniture has been rearranged. You will also notice other changes made to ensure the health and well-being of our patients and our team. We are grateful for every one of our patients. You are the life-force of our practice, and therefore we are taking your safety VERY seriously.
