One of the difficult things about working in a field that supports people in their homes is that, for the staff and managers that do the work on the ground, there are no breaks for special days. The needs of the people we serve don't change or go away just because it's a holiday. In truth, some of the people we work with need our support even more over the holidays. That means many of our staff miss time with their own families on days like Christmas Eve and Christmas. - not ...just to do their everyday jobs, but also to ensure that the people we serve have great holidays themselves. I want to express my sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at RJD, Inc. for the things they do every day of the year, and especially for the work they do each holiday season. RJD is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Moberly! Shifts Available: Various Part-time positions (overnights 12a-8a, evenings 4p-12a and just weekend shifts) Starting pay $11.00/hour... We are currently searching for caring, honest, and fun-loving individuals to provide support to people with developmental disabilities. This job entails assisting individuals to care for their home, provide transportation, help with any medical needs, personal care, and community integration. The ideal candidate must be extremely reliable, CPR/1st Aid & L1MA preferred but not required, we will train the right person! Experience working with a person with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent Clear Background (Screening required) Reliable transportation Driver's license & car insurance A good attitude, strong work ethic & ability/desire to help the people we serve have a fun and fulfilling life.
