Wow! What an incredible end to our VBS COVID style!! Our kids did such an awesome job!! At the beginning of the week I challenged our kiddos to bring in offering for the Mission Youth Home in Mt. Vernon. To sweeten the deal a little, well a lot, my husband and I decided to make it a little more competitive. Each year we see who can raise more the girls or boys. Only this year I represented the girls and Cody represented the boys. Whichever team won, the other team got a pie i...n the face. It was a close race all week! And our ending total was only about $15 apart! Our total amount blew me completely out of the water! Your amazing kids raise $846.75!!!! Well like I said it was split only by about $15... the girls raised $416.65. Amazing!! The boys though, they really came to fight and wanted to watch me get that pie in the face and raised $430.10!!! Wow!! So needless to say my husband really enjoyed putting a pie in my face tonight. To say I am proud of these kiddos is a complete understatement! Stay tuned tomorrow for our virtual family night that we recorded tonight. Thank you all so much for sharing your kids with us this week. We had 55 kids tonight! We had an AMAZING second night of VBS with 54 kiddos and 32 Adult helpers! Tomorrow night is our evangelical night where our older kids will learn more about being saved. Pray for those that are lost and that their hearts are ready to Accept the Lord as their savior.
